7-Zip is a free and open source program for file compressing/uncompressing. It's main virtues are:
- Better compression than WinRAR (Depends on what you are compressing, but in general, has a better compression ratio).
- You can create and uncompress to/from diferent file formats: zip, rar, bz, tar, tgz, and a very long Etc..
- It's free!!
